Community Services Purpose & Philosophy

Through its community services programs, the Marion School District provides access to district facilities for community use when they are not in use for school functions. In keeping with the district’s motto of Compassion. Commitment. Community. the district encourages community use of the facilities for wellness activities, youth and adult programming, alumni events, community recreation, internet access, and other education, training, recreational, cultural or athletic programs outside the regular curricular and extracurricular programs for pupils.
