Open House, ParentSquare Training Sessions & Tailgate
Join us as we kick off the new school year on Thursday, August 29th from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Marion Elementary and Marion Junior/Senior High School will be hosting an Open House from 3:30-7:00 for students and families to tour the building and meet their teachers. At the high school, students can also drop off any school supplies in their lockers and pick up their Chromebooks.

New this year, we will be hosting ParentSquare overview training sessions in the Marion Elementary School library during the open house beginning every half hour from 3:30 and 6:30. You can sign up below or walk-in at 3:30, 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30.

After visiting classrooms you can head up to the Elementary library for a ParentSquare training session and then on to the Marion Elementary playground for a free grilled dinner and dessert. We hope to see you there!

We're looking forward to seeing you and WELCOME BACK!

Bus Rider Information
School Bus routes are now posted in Skyward Family Access with estimated times for 2024-25.

If you are planning for your child to ride a bus this year, please review the routes in Skyward for times and stop information.

If your child is missing a stop or has a location that looks wrong, please contact the bus garage at 715-754-4591. Please leave a message if nobody answers.

To view bus routes, log in to Skyward Family Access and click on "Busing" on the left sidebar.

For the first few days of school, plan to be 10 minutes early to your bus stop and allow up to 10 minutes after the scheduled time while everyone gets settled into the new school year and times get fine tuned.

A few reminders to improve the bus riding experience for all students and keep bus routes on time:
  • If you will not be riding the bus in the morning, please let the driver know or leave a message on the bus garage phone before 6:25 AM. Drivers cannot answer their cell phone or check for texts once they begin driving.
  • Students need to be to their designated pick-up location on time. This means that students have all their school materials and are outside and ready to board the bus when it arrives.
  • The recommendation is that students are waiting at the bus stop 5 minutes prior to their designated pick-up time.
  • Route buses are on a tight schedule, and when students are not ready to board at their pick-up times, other students have longer wait times.
  • In cold and rainy weather, this can be uncomfortable for those who do not have a covered shelter. We want all students to have the benefit of starting their day off well.
  • Parents are responsible for supervision of students at bus pickup & dropoff areas.
  • Students should stand at least 10 feet away from the roadway while waiting for pickup.

If you have any questions, please contact the bus garage at 715-754-4591.
