Parent/Teacher Conference Scheduling
October 25, 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians:

The Marion School District is once again using Appointlet to schedule parent teacher-conferences. This year’s conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 7th and Friday, November 8th. We request that you review this letter and schedule conferences by noon on Monday, November 4th.

As a reminder, there will be no school on Friday the 8th to allow for conferences. Conference appointments are available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM on Thursday and 8:00 AM and Noon on Friday. Each conference will be scheduled in 15-minute increments. If you feel you need more time with a teacher, please feel free to schedule two back-to-back time slots.

As we have done in the past, in-person, videoconference and phone call options are all available. The video conferencing option will be done through Google Meet, which can be accessed from a computer, tablet or cell phone. If you sign up for a videoconference and would like to invite another parent/guardian to a conference, please send their email address to the teacher and ask them to add them as guests. The phone option will allow you to provide the number you would like to be contacted at, and the teacher will call you at that number during the time you requested. Inviting guests is not an option with the phone conference, unfortunately.

Please follow the instructions on the back side of this letter to schedule your parent-teacher conference either in-person, as a Google Meet or via phone. If the times listed don’t work for your schedule, please reach out to the teachers and suggest alternate dates and times. If you have any questions on how to schedule a time, contact your child’s school office.
